F**ked up yet again

 

          TUESDAY(?) 8/23/22 12:54PM--had to cancel my appointment...I went to the Dr.'s office without my wallet, w/o the prescription and w/o the work order and or the referral. So I canceled today's appointment and IF I can get my shit together I'll start over from square one. Meaning that I'll have to reschedule.
     But now I can give my full attention to the visit to Ocean City.
6:33PM--I'm about 90% packed for trip.
9:15PM--I lost a tiny piece of photographic equipment...very VERY frustrating. Not the lens cover, but the other end, which is also needs protection. If I'm especially careful, I think I can still use the macro lens. I still plan on taking them to Beach, Risky as that may be. If I have to buy the whole set again, I'll do it. Just not until the SSA check comes in. If I don't have enuff cash to use in Ocean City, I'll pull out the plastic.
WEDNESDAY 8/24/22 9:06AM--I thought we were going to OC this morning. We're not--we're leaving after Lunchtime.
9:33AM--I'm not taking the laptop with me; other than printing stuff, the phone will do just fine. I do wanna take a book with me though. I just can't find the one I wanted--naturally.

8:30PM-it took longer than I had hoped for, but we made it to Ocean City. We made a stop on the way to get sandwiches; I guess that was our lunch and/or our dinner. I bought myself two cans of diet Coke and I bought two bottles of water for Dianne and I bought myself some Cheez-Its. I guess I’ll be okay until morning. I have no idea what we’re doing for breakfast, and that’s OK by me – for now.

THURSDAY 8/25/22 11:06AM-even at the beach, it can be a long day…

12:10PM-well, I got myself a hat and a bathing suit.


12:20PM-I don’t know what we’re doing next. I hope we’re going back to our room, but I doubt that that will be what we do.I know people come here for the boardwalk, but it’s way too hot for me,.

4:04PM-well we finally made it to the boardwalk, but not easily. Maybe I’ll elaborate some other time – it’s rather embarrassing. Currently I’m sitting in the shade; there’s a warm  breeze blowing and Dianne is shopping. I think we have to be back to our room by 5:30 in order to take showers and get ready to go to dinner.

9:10PM-Well we had Dinner, brought some of it back to our room. As tired as I might be, I don’t wanna go to bed too early. Hoping to last until Eleven. But I have my doubts.

Musical homework

            THURSDAY 8/4/22 6:19PM-- started doing my band "homework"... Hoping to be ready by Sunday's practice. Made a legible copy (by hand and then laptop) of the songs and their corresponding NOTES. It didn't take too long, but I'm glad I'm finished. 10:22PM-just took the Trazodone...gonna give it until 11PM and then ready or not I'M going to bed. I don't know why, but I'm almost happy the cleaners won't be back for two weeks. This happens every time they come to clean. Tomorrow is Muzzy's play date. Tuesday's just as bad

            TUESDAY 5/17/22 11:16AM-- someone is coming here to give me some sort of check-up. I don't think they represent UHC, but I might be wrong about that. Whoever it is, they're supposed to be here between Noon and 4PM. The sooner they get here, the sooner they'll be gone.  11:45AM--I'm nervous about the upcoming exam. As if I didn't already have enough to worry about, right? I've got bills I think need to be paid; I wanna be alone when I do it, and unless Dianne goes upstairs to work, I won't be. 1:41PM--whoever's coming to examine me should be here shortly...how long will the exam take? I have no idea, but I hope to be trying for a nap before three o'clock. 2:56PM--the exam is over, the young woman just left...I guess I'm in worse shape than I thought. I MIGHT have a mini pizza for dinner. 3:35PM--or not...the last thing I wanna do is ask Dianne to help me cook anything ...so tonight I'll have the Fettucine Alfredo, THAT I know how ...

dumber as ya get older

        MONDAY 5/23/22 8:47AM-It took me awhile, but I (alone) checked my blood sugar. it was 116. I was ok once I found the instruction booklet. I made a really good looking omelet. Today is the last day it's safe to use the eggs.         Dianne is at her doctor's appointment, I think. I'm working on the dishes,  after which...well, I dunno what I'll be doing. IF I can find the energy, I'll go to Hank's--IF I get the chance to warm up, more than a little that is. 5:10PM--the strings on Butterscotch absolutely need to be changed...well, maybe next week I'll bring it to Hank's. I'm still planning on going, but I'm not taking anything but some guitar picks. SueEl still isn't going tonight as far as I know. There might be a Fender amp and Tele already there--I can use that stuff if I get the chance to play. 7:26PM-the amp is here, the Tele is not-as far as I can see. 7:42PM-I guess I’ll be a spectator…such is Life.
