I think I got exactly what I wanted

THURSDAY 10/13/22 12:03PM-so I found a barbershop inside the Kentlands; it’s allegedly been here for about 20 years. It is a “no frills” kind of place – exactly what I wanted. And the price was fair, considering it’s 2022.
I think I still have about an hour to kill before the cleaners leave. I’m OK with that, it’s better than having two hours to kill. And of course there’s always the library.
1:15PM--the cleaners have been gone for about 30 minutes or so.
1:45PM--Lunch has given me a tummy ache. I shoulda just eaten half of it. Oh well.
6:01 PM--*I* think there might possibly be a small problem with the new washer--maybe. I tried to "take care of it" but, being me, I was unable to. Getting old REALLY stinks. And it's getting worse every day. As for  the washer, I'll let Dianne discover it. Hmm, an acting job...not proud of it, though. Feeling rather guilty in fact.
11:28PM--I'm surprised that I'm taking my Musical retirement quite well--so far. I mentioned it to SueEl, but I don't think she believes me. Dianne doesn't, for sure.
FRIDAY 10/14/22 9:12AM-I assume today will get a bit better. It started out a little rough IMO. I've got one (?) important phone call to make...later.
10:40AM--I THOUGHT Dianne and I had gotten over our bad patch (the past few days) but no, she's still quick-tempered and somewhat obnoxious. I don't think she's at all aware of it. Oh well...
2:50PM--I guess the next Gov't Project is the attempt to purge the "junk" from the basement...I hope the junk removers have a big enough truck.
3:21PM--well, I made that certain phone call. I know as much now as I did an hour ago, which is nuthin'. I guess I'll try again on Monday, unless they call me back today.
4:12PM--If Art is competition (if?) I surrender to "Zsaj", a photographer I know who shows her work on FLICKR. I AM just a beginner compared to her. I think she studied Art at the U. of Md/CP. I thought I was past the beginner stage...now I don't know.
I have belatedly discovered that the Portrait feature on my iPhone automatically blurs (slightly) the background, which then emphasizes the subject. It's Janet's birthday. I wish I had tried it years ago.
There is gonna be a family gathering at Riderwood on Sunday. There should be plenty of photo ops at that time. We'll see. I hope to remember to bring my lenses, just in case. Of course, there's only so much one can do with a smartphone. A lot, but not everything.
5:08PM--We might be having pizza for dinner--that's alright by me. Getting nervous about the arrival of the junk removers...I guess I'm kinda nervous about nearly everything lately. That can't be good.
