      FRIDAY 7/8/22 11;29 PM--just got home from my first practice (audition?) with Elle and Tom...Most of the harmonies were amazing. What really surprised me was the fact that my "in the car" voices showed themselves in Elle's living room. They seemed to be blown away by my singing.
      I thought I was replacing the third member of the trio for one (non-paying) gig; but I think it's possible that I will replace him permanently. Elle made a book of songs for me to learn; I'm gonna need to work pretty hard for a change. And PETE was giving me tuning problems. I don't have the money to get ONE guitar fine-tuned, much less three. Blackie 
      I told them I was likely gonna have trouble sleeping tonight. I meant it but I hope I'm wrong.
 SATURDAY 7/9/22 12:12 AM-Belatedly, it occurs to me that I should have recorded the practice,
        8:22AM--Turns out I didn't have trouble sleeping. But I was going over what I heard in my head. Some of Elle's harmonies need to be changed IMO, but for once I'm gonna keep my mouth shut. I guess I can't blame her too much for wanting to show off her vocal range. I like to show off mine, in the right circumstances.
10:39AM--continuing straightening my side of the basement. Like always, I couldn't find something--my reverb pedal; so I gave up--and found it a few minutes later. It will go into the Brit Box, hopefully. I need to take it to the next vocal trio rehearsal, whenever that will be.
9:09PM--my side of the basement is getting better...I'm currently working on the smaller shelves; eventually I'll start on the BIG shelves--dreading workin' on those.
10:48PM--do I need a VHS recorder/player? I don't think so. Another DVD player? I don't think so; I'll likely donate both of them. And I wanna start working on getting some more books donated as well.
SUNDAY 7/10/22 9:05AM--I now believe I have a  Urinary Tract Infection. I think/hope there's an OTC remedy available.
2:24PM-After the brunch with Alvijan  we’re at target which has a grocery section and a CVS pharmacy in it. We could be home by 3:30.
4:45PM *I* believe I have developed a urinary tract infection; Dianne  says BE SURE. I hope Dr. Gold knows what to do about it. I bought some stuff that's supposed to help, but who knows?
 5:11PM--My calendar is getting full and I'd like to control that; but I can't seem to be able to. 
6:22PM--It has been three long hours since I gave up on my nap. Can't believe it's only 6:30. sheesh.
10:00PM--I read online that one way to minimize the discomfort of what may be a urinary tract infection is to drink LOTSA water--so that's what I'm doing. But not TOO much...
MONDAY 7/11/22 8:05 AM--the best news so far is that Dianne took it well when I told her I didn't wanna go to Columbia with her. I feel like I've got LOTS to do around here. Not including getting ready to go out with Lou tonight.
9:13AM--I've cut today's "to do' list roughly in half...I'm really wiped out already but I'm determined to go to the Crown open mic this evening. And be at least satisfied with my playing and singing.
10:34AM--finished the laundry...gonna have Lunch soon, try to take a nap then get up and pack the acoustic and stuff.
