a good day so far

 

              TUESDAY 6/21/22 4:06PM--made an appointment with Dr. Gold--for this Thursday!!! Got three pairs of electric guitar strings for the price of one...
  9:35PM--Maybe the roomie is going thru "the change", except she probably went thru it roughly ten years ago... In any case, I'm walking on eggshells around the house.
10:30PM--I hope to be in bed within the hour; and sleep until 8:30AM.
WEDNESDAY 6/22/22 8:52AM--I feel as though I've got a LOT to do today; at least one thing is NOT gonna get done. That's the trip to the dump... Maybe tomorrow, after my Doctor's appointment. If I'm gonna take Butterscotch to Bippy's, I must change the strings, preferably today. Or cross my fingers and take Butterscotch II instead.
10:34AM--still working on Laundry...should be finished before One o'clock.
5:14PM--doing what I think is the last laundry I need to do for awhile...
5:40PM--slowly but surely prepping for the cleaners to come tomorrow...
THURSDAY 6/23/22 10:46AM--getting ready to go to Dr. Gold's office...dunno when Jorge is coming...I don't like being in the dark, but that's where I am...
1;23PM--the doctor's visit went well enough...I've got the paperwork; right now it's in my car. Gonna create a system whereby I keep better track of that stuff.
The cleaners should be here shortly; I hope they'll be gone by Four o'clock, but I'm not optimistic. Getting excited about going to Bippy's with SueEl...
8:06PM-I already made an enemy here at the open mic…mostly because I was a little nervous and I got hyper…oh well…I suppose if the shoe was on the other foot, MAYBE I’d be annoyed…I SO looked forward to being here…I think Google maps took us halfway to Pittsburgh, but eventually we got here.
8:45PM- the set with SueEl went well, once I got my guitar in tune…the guy I so thoroughly pissed off said I/we did good, so that’s something, right? I’m pretty sure we’re done for the night.
9:08PM-turns out the guy ain’t the best singer I’ve ever heard,  but he’s a pretty good guitar player...
11:08PM--I screwed up going home; I think we went more than halfway to Baltimore before we got straightened out.
FRIDAY 6/24/22 10:44AM--I thought I had a UHC exam coming up later on today; there is substantial evidence that I do not. And I'm FINE with that idea. I'd rather take a nap, if possible. I might have to go to CVS; Dianne needs to as well. She plans to work until about three o'clock, I think. Which means I could/should be napping by one o'clock; which means Lunch could be as early as 11:30, to allow time for the digestion process to begin.
9:00PM--much to my surprise, I got a visit from a UHC rep to check on me. It's fair to say my (phone) calendar is a bit of a mess.
SATURDAY 6/25/22 10:49AM--I predict that some right-wing Chump following "Christian" will bring their gun to DC and use it on the Roe v Wade supporters. I really hope I'm wrong.
11:46AM--the roomie is in one of those moods...me too I suppose, which has made for a rough day so far.
5:11PM--we're going somewhere for dinner, even though *I* can't afford it.

Musical homework

            THURSDAY 8/4/22 6:19PM-- started doing my band "homework"... Hoping to be ready by Sunday's practice. Made a legible copy (by hand and then laptop) of the songs and their corresponding NOTES. It didn't take too long, but I'm glad I'm finished. 10:22PM-just took the Trazodone...gonna give it until 11PM and then ready or not I'M going to bed. I don't know why, but I'm almost happy the cleaners won't be back for two weeks. This happens every time they come to clean. Tomorrow is Muzzy's play date. Tuesday's just as bad

            TUESDAY 5/17/22 11:16AM-- someone is coming here to give me some sort of check-up. I don't think they represent UHC, but I might be wrong about that. Whoever it is, they're supposed to be here between Noon and 4PM. The sooner they get here, the sooner they'll be gone.  11:45AM--I'm nervous about the upcoming exam. As if I didn't already have enough to worry about, right? I've got bills I think need to be paid; I wanna be alone when I do it, and unless Dianne goes upstairs to work, I won't be. 1:41PM--whoever's coming to examine me should be here shortly...how long will the exam take? I have no idea, but I hope to be trying for a nap before three o'clock. 2:56PM--the exam is over, the young woman just left...I guess I'm in worse shape than I thought. I MIGHT have a mini pizza for dinner. 3:35PM--or not...the last thing I wanna do is ask Dianne to help me cook anything ...so tonight I'll have the Fettucine Alfredo, THAT I know how ...

dumber as ya get older

        MONDAY 5/23/22 8:47AM-It took me awhile, but I (alone) checked my blood sugar. it was 116. I was ok once I found the instruction booklet. I made a really good looking omelet. Today is the last day it's safe to use the eggs.         Dianne is at her doctor's appointment, I think. I'm working on the dishes,  after which...well, I dunno what I'll be doing. IF I can find the energy, I'll go to Hank's--IF I get the chance to warm up, more than a little that is. 5:10PM--the strings on Butterscotch absolutely need to be changed...well, maybe next week I'll bring it to Hank's. I'm still planning on going, but I'm not taking anything but some guitar picks. SueEl still isn't going tonight as far as I know. There might be a Fender amp and Tele already there--I can use that stuff if I get the chance to play. 7:26PM-the amp is here, the Tele is not-as far as I can see. 7:42PM-I guess I’ll be a spectator…such is Life.
