Way too early but..
MONDAY 4/22 9:38AM-I know it’s really really early but it’s been a good day so far, especially for a Monday.
I’m going in to do my physical therapy. I think it only takes about an hour, and that’s enough for me.
After that, I'll go to Starbucks and get Dianne some stuff, After my mid-day nap, I’m going to go to a certain shop in the Kentlands and get a haircut. The name of the shop is (I think) Sports Cuts. I hope to be home by four o'clock or thereabouts. I don’t yet know if Sue Ellen and I are going out tonight; I guess I’ll probably stay home if she doesn’t go- maybe.
11:45AM--I really wanna get the "new me" up and running...there's that impatience thing again. I'm seriously considering going to Hank's open mic whether SueEl goes or not. I DO hope she goes, but she's been feeling kinda "oogy" lately.Time will tell.
12:15PM-the lawn guys are here...I imagine they'll be gone by 1:30 if not sooner.
5:30PM--I got the haircut. I'd give it a "6" on a scale of Ten. I tried to trim the hair on my face, and messed it up a little. The stylist at Sports Clips did the best she could with what she had to work with. As for my hair, I can always wear a hat. SueEl isn't gonna go, and she can't go to Bippy's on Thursday either. If I don't go anywhere with Lou on Thursday, I'll (hopefully) go to Bippy's.
Dianne's departure day is Wednesday. *I* can hardly wait.
11:48PM--considering how apprehensive I was about going to Dietle's w/o SueEl, I had a great night. My guitar work was fair, my lead singing was good...my Bass playing was (IMO) very VERY good. The house drummer also plays keys. He led us through some Beatle tunes and even a bunch of Steely Dan (!) and I didn't mess up too much...The only bummer was that SueEl was unable to attend.
TUESDAY 4/5/22 1:02AM--Right or wrong, I'm probably as excited about Dianne leaving for Florida on Wednesday as she is.
10:49AM--went to Safeway, got some stuff...that's one less thing to do tomorrow.
11:04AM--I don't mean to sound like a broken record, but I think it's gonna be a long day.
12:15PM-I did accomplish the one thing I needed to do--I rescheduled the appointment with Dr. Lahr. At this point, just about all I can think about is the visit to Victor Litz. I'm not optimistic about getting exactly what I want, but I suspect Litz will get exactly what they want. There's a guitar on the website that, while not my FIRST choice, would certainly get the job done.
1:43PM--I took a phot of my laptop screen of someone repairing a Blues Jr. reverb unit. *I* think Litz should be able to see what the problem is by looking at the picture. We'll find out tomorrow I hope.
4:50PM--as far as *I* can determine the Bippy's open mic is every OTHER Thursday, meaning it won't be THIS coming Thursday, which is what *I* wanted...if I had but one wish, it would be to find out what the f**k I did to deserve being sh*t on so much.It must be something that happened relatively recently.
5:05PM--it's starting to look like I'll have to wait until next Monday to try out my new Tele--if I get one. Or I can go to JV's on Wednesday. If I can have half as much fun there as I had last night at Hank's, I'll be happy. As more time passes, I'm less optimistic about getting a fair deal at Litz. Gonna TRY to forget about that until I get back from BWI tomorrow. The Reminiscing Tour I'm thinking of taking, if I take it at all, will be on the day she comes back to BWI.
7:21PM--I thought I blocked everybody from my Flakebook; but maybe I didn't.Or maybe I did, but I let everyone back in except Mark Lysher. We may have been friends once, but we're not anymore.
