Same as it ever was

 

      FRIDAY 4/15/22 6:49pm-I took the laptop to Best Buy...at this point in time, it's not 100% fixed. I'm gonna try again on TUESDAY. But for now, computers and/or technology are the LAST things I wanna think about. In fact, there's a lot of things I don't wanna think about.
       SATURDAY 4/16/22 9:15AM--it took some effort, but I THINK I rescheduled my Geek Squad appointment. I moved it to Tuesday--I think.
      10:30AM-well we’re out doing errands now, including a trip to Pritchard for guitar strings. It’s a nice day so far weatherwise – as long as you’re wearing a jacket and a hat. As for the guitar strings, I might not be able to put them on until Monday. I want to do it sooner, but I might not be able to. I have changed strings in the morning and gone out to play that evening; so I’m not too worried.
    I think there may have been a change of plan possibly. I think we’re going to Riderwood today, but I think we should go tomorrow. On the other hand we could go to Riderwood today and then it’s done and over with.
10:55 and that’s what we are doing to do.
11:06AM-lately I’ve been trying to control my temper; and I’ve been somewhat successful at it. The roomie, on the other hand does not try to control her temper. Just about everything we do together is fraught with tension.
        I think I’ve almost got the hang of my new iPhone. And as far as what I need my Fitbit to do I’m OK. Most of the other things it can allegedly do, I think I can do on my phone.
 Naptime starts shortly, and goes until 4:00.
8:46PM--to cut right to the chase, Dinner with Alvijan was nice enough, for the most part. Maybe Dianne does, but *I* don't. I'll put the new strings on Butterscotch II early Monday. More than a little nervous about the project. But I'm optimistic about the final result. Trying to live my Life one day at a time.
10:05PM--STAR TREK now comes on at 11'oclock; I dunno why, so I'll stay up and watch it. When I heard SueEl's new band play SUPERSTITION, I was kinda shocked at how badly they played the Chorus. I expressed my opinion to SueEl; dunno what, if anything, SueEl is gonna do with this new information. And I just heard/watched a band do damage to EVERYBODY WANTS TO RULE THE WORLD--yikes.
SUNDAY 4/17/22 9:52AM--I don't think we're gonna be doing much today; We both have laundry to do. I don't have to do it today. Tomorrow I can do Laundry and change the strings on Butterscotch II at the same time. We'll see what else is happening.

Musical homework

            THURSDAY 8/4/22 6:19PM-- started doing my band "homework"... Hoping to be ready by Sunday's practice. Made a legible copy (by hand and then laptop) of the songs and their corresponding NOTES. It didn't take too long, but I'm glad I'm finished. 10:22PM-just took the Trazodone...gonna give it until 11PM and then ready or not I'M going to bed. I don't know why, but I'm almost happy the cleaners won't be back for two weeks. This happens every time they come to clean. Tomorrow is Muzzy's play date. Tuesday's just as bad

            TUESDAY 5/17/22 11:16AM-- someone is coming here to give me some sort of check-up. I don't think they represent UHC, but I might be wrong about that. Whoever it is, they're supposed to be here between Noon and 4PM. The sooner they get here, the sooner they'll be gone.  11:45AM--I'm nervous about the upcoming exam. As if I didn't already have enough to worry about, right? I've got bills I think need to be paid; I wanna be alone when I do it, and unless Dianne goes upstairs to work, I won't be. 1:41PM--whoever's coming to examine me should be here shortly...how long will the exam take? I have no idea, but I hope to be trying for a nap before three o'clock. 2:56PM--the exam is over, the young woman just left...I guess I'm in worse shape than I thought. I MIGHT have a mini pizza for dinner. 3:35PM--or not...the last thing I wanna do is ask Dianne to help me cook anything ...so tonight I'll have the Fettucine Alfredo, THAT I know how ...

dumber as ya get older

        MONDAY 5/23/22 8:47AM-It took me awhile, but I (alone) checked my blood sugar. it was 116. I was ok once I found the instruction booklet. I made a really good looking omelet. Today is the last day it's safe to use the eggs.         Dianne is at her doctor's appointment, I think. I'm working on the dishes,  after which...well, I dunno what I'll be doing. IF I can find the energy, I'll go to Hank's--IF I get the chance to warm up, more than a little that is. 5:10PM--the strings on Butterscotch absolutely need to be changed...well, maybe next week I'll bring it to Hank's. I'm still planning on going, but I'm not taking anything but some guitar picks. SueEl still isn't going tonight as far as I know. There might be a Fender amp and Tele already there--I can use that stuff if I get the chance to play. 7:26PM-the amp is here, the Tele is not-as far as I can see. 7:42PM-I guess I’ll be a spectator…such is Life.
