There's busy, and then there is hectic

 

      TUESDAY 4/19/22 9:30AM--the UHC exam is later today. Another visit to the Geek Squad is today also, at 3:40. I'll be very happy when they solve the problem w/my laptop.
       I don’t see me going to an open mic this week, unless I go on Thursday with Lou. I don’t think I’ll get to try Butterscotch out until next week… You have no idea how frustrating that is.
9:45AM—I’m getting desperate; I just might go to Hershey‘s on Thursday, if Lou and I aren’t doing anything.My financial situation is gloomy… I don’t have enough cash in the bank to get me through the next two weeks. Oh well, that’s what credit cards are for, right?
    8:00PM--it feels to me that it has been a faily hectic day. Other than PT tomorrow at 11AM, I don't have anything else to do. And I'm OK with that. As for Thursday, Lou and I MIGHT be going to an open mic at Dominic's, which is in Monovia.
9:03PM--I feel like I'm almost ready to go to bed...
10PM--Dianne put a  new screen protector on my Fit Bit and now IT'S effed up. I can still find out what time it is and what day it is...I guess that's all it needs to do.
10:25PM--Somehow I lost some watch apps that I use...but the phone does the same stuff--IF I have it on me, that is.
WEDNESDAY 4/20/22 9:29AM--cancelled today's PT session, never mind why. The refrigerator repairman is coming between 10 and 1 I think.
12:40PM-- he came at about 10:30 and was done in about twenty minutes. My fit bit is still malfunctioning in some manner. I liked it better before Dianne changed the watchband (coincidence?). The apparent loss of the features I liked is a bummer, but I can tell time, date and Heart Rate. I guess that's better than nothing, right? The videos on youTube are wothless as fas *I* can tell.
5:03PM--well, I've tried eveything; all my Fitbit does now is give me the time, date and Heart rate, which I imagine is higher than it should be. I really really liked it until Dianne changed bands. Bummer.
5:39PM--Hopefully now I can look forward to the open mic with Lou. I think I'm driving to his house and he's driving us to Dominic's.
7:44PM--I've warned Dianne that I'm gonna try to practice. I told her I would try rhe living room first. Then I remembered--she doesn't know about B II.
8:16PM--was gonna prepare my "work space" so I could practice in the basement, but that will have to wait until tomorrw, while I'm doing laundry. It's gonna be a Gov't Project, but I've got a couple of hours to do it...all I wanna do is warm up the area a little before I start practicing.
9:50PM--just took a Trazodone, expecting to go to bed at Eleven.

Musical homework

            THURSDAY 8/4/22 6:19PM-- started doing my band "homework"... Hoping to be ready by Sunday's practice. Made a legible copy (by hand and then laptop) of the songs and their corresponding NOTES. It didn't take too long, but I'm glad I'm finished. 10:22PM-just took the Trazodone...gonna give it until 11PM and then ready or not I'M going to bed. I don't know why, but I'm almost happy the cleaners won't be back for two weeks. This happens every time they come to clean. Tomorrow is Muzzy's play date. I should be back home by eight thirty, after I go to Safeway and get bologna.       FRIDAY 8/5/22 8:46AM--Dianne is going to the Germantown flea market by herself. She's OK with that. Tuesday's just as bad

            TUESDAY 5/17/22 11:16AM-- someone is coming here to give me some sort of check-up. I don't think they represent UHC, but I might be wrong about that. Whoever it is, they're supposed to be here between Noon and 4PM. The sooner they get here, the sooner they'll be gone.  11:45AM--I'm nervous about the upcoming exam. As if I didn't already have enough to worry about, right? I've got bills I think need to be paid; I wanna be alone when I do it, and unless Dianne goes upstairs to work, I won't be. 1:41PM--whoever's coming to examine me should be here shortly...how long will the exam take? I have no idea, but I hope to be trying for a nap before three o'clock. 2:56PM--the exam is over, the young woman just left...I guess I'm in worse shape than I thought. I MIGHT have a mini pizza for dinner. 3:35PM--or not...the last thing I wanna do is ask Dianne to help me cook anything ...so tonight I'll have the Fettucine Alfredo, THAT I know how ...

dumber as ya get older

        MONDAY 5/23/22 8:47AM-It took me awhile, but I (alone) checked my blood sugar. it was 116. I was ok once I found the instruction booklet. I made a really good looking omelet. Today is the last day it's safe to use the eggs.         Dianne is at her doctor's appointment, I think. I'm working on the dishes,  after which...well, I dunno what I'll be doing. IF I can find the energy, I'll go to Hank's--IF I get the chance to warm up, more than a little that is. 5:10PM--the strings on Butterscotch absolutely need to be changed...well, maybe next week I'll bring it to Hank's. I'm still planning on going, but I'm not taking anything but some guitar picks. SueEl still isn't going tonight as far as I know. There might be a Fender amp and Tele already there--I can use that stuff if I get the chance to play. 7:26PM-the amp is here, the Tele is not-as far as I can see. 7:42PM-I guess I’ll be a spectator…such is Life.
