helpless and alone

 


        SATURDAY 2/26/22 12:48PM--I fell down again, overnight (2AM ?) in the bathroom. I couldn't stop it (I dunno how) so I bounced off of the bathtub and landed on the floor. It's a HUGE mystery (to me at least) that I didn't get insanely angry--being half asleep must have had something to do with that. I didn't cry, althought I had a good reason to. I didn't wake Dianne up, I dunno why. I got myself up (eventually) and went back to bed.
       There are lotsa things to do around the house, some (but not all) of that being my fault. Dianne keeps on buying new furniture, but we haven't gotten rid of the old stuff yet. The living room is starting to look like an obstacle course.
7:09PM--didn't do all that much today, mostly because I didn't wanna...made a lightning fast visit to Safeway--for two items, mac&cheese Lean Cuisine brand and chicken noodle soup Safeway brand AND Campbell's...
     SUNDAY 2/27/22 11:00AM--registering electronically for TWO different Doctor's appointments...
11:40AM--I think I won both battles, now I'm doing laundry specifically Towels and Sheets. Later this evening I'll do some more of my Laundry; at which point I will be very nearly caught up. I saw clothes (mostly shirts) that I forgot I had. Now that they're clean I can wear them again.
12:05PM--gonna take the file cabinet back to Staples, hopefully I'll survive the Project...
1:30PM-I survived… The Staples kid picked it up like it was a box of Girl Scout cookies and off he went… BTW – we now have two boxes of Girl Scout cookies, both Thin Mints.
9:54PM--Trying to make it to Midnight...gotta take my Nighttime meds soon, at about 11o'clock, if I can stay awake that long...Maybe I should wait until I actually DO go to bed before I take the stuff. I'll try that tonight.

Musical homework

            THURSDAY 8/4/22 6:19PM-- started doing my band "homework"... Hoping to be ready by Sunday's practice. Made a legible copy (by hand and then laptop) of the songs and their corresponding NOTES. It didn't take too long, but I'm glad I'm finished. 10:22PM-just took the Trazodone...gonna give it until 11PM and then ready or not I'M going to bed. I don't know why, but I'm almost happy the cleaners won't be back for two weeks. This happens every time they come to clean. Tomorrow is Muzzy's play date. Tuesday's just as bad

            TUESDAY 5/17/22 11:16AM-- someone is coming here to give me some sort of check-up. I don't think they represent UHC, but I might be wrong about that. Whoever it is, they're supposed to be here between Noon and 4PM. The sooner they get here, the sooner they'll be gone.  11:45AM--I'm nervous about the upcoming exam. As if I didn't already have enough to worry about, right? I've got bills I think need to be paid; I wanna be alone when I do it, and unless Dianne goes upstairs to work, I won't be. 1:41PM--whoever's coming to examine me should be here shortly...how long will the exam take? I have no idea, but I hope to be trying for a nap before three o'clock. 2:56PM--the exam is over, the young woman just left...I guess I'm in worse shape than I thought. I MIGHT have a mini pizza for dinner. 3:35PM--or not...the last thing I wanna do is ask Dianne to help me cook anything ...so tonight I'll have the Fettucine Alfredo, THAT I know how ...

dumber as ya get older

        MONDAY 5/23/22 8:47AM-It took me awhile, but I (alone) checked my blood sugar. it was 116. I was ok once I found the instruction booklet. I made a really good looking omelet. Today is the last day it's safe to use the eggs.         Dianne is at her doctor's appointment, I think. I'm working on the dishes,  after which...well, I dunno what I'll be doing. IF I can find the energy, I'll go to Hank's--IF I get the chance to warm up, more than a little that is. 5:10PM--the strings on Butterscotch absolutely need to be changed...well, maybe next week I'll bring it to Hank's. I'm still planning on going, but I'm not taking anything but some guitar picks. SueEl still isn't going tonight as far as I know. There might be a Fender amp and Tele already there--I can use that stuff if I get the chance to play. 7:26PM-the amp is here, the Tele is not-as far as I can see. 7:42PM-I guess I’ll be a spectator…such is Life.
