Adulthood is hard

 

    MONDAY 2/21/22 12:27 PM--the nurse rep from UHC just left...She (and Dianne) did all the work, scheduling appointments for ME. I didn't do anything, but I'm tired anyway.
       12:50PM--I wanna go to Dietle's this evening, but I don't know if I wanna participate or just watch. I dunno what SueEl wants to do yet; I'm sure I'll find out sometime today.
5:41PM--looks like we're both going to Dietle's and I kinda sorta in a way think I MIGHT wanna play some guitar. We'll see...
9:43PM--I did play guitar, behind SueEl. The place was more crowded than I have ever seen it. Which is why we only got three songs. BTW, I kinda fell down. I'm still angry about it, which is not healthy.Somebody had the stool I've been thinking about getting--I consider that some kinda omen.I wish I knew who's stool it was.
11:03 PM--I ordered a stool from Amazon, I should have it on Wednesday. It will be just as important as my guitar and amp.
TUESDAY 2/22/22 I got lost in the Kentlands looking for a jeweler. It's a good thing I had my phone (for the GPS) or else I might still be looking to get outta that neighborhood.
  I'm gonna try to skip my after Lunch nap, or at the very least, hold it down to an hour--by sleeping on the couch. I've got a Project to occupy my time; I have no idea how long it's gonna take.
6:36PM--So I got two hours sleep last night. And although I tried, I didn't get a midday nap this afternoon. I wish I had.
      Dianne and I aren't speaking to each other (yet)--there was a fight, nobody won. But I suspect we won't be watching MASH tonight.
7:10PM--to my surprise, we are watching MASH.
10:10PM--I probably shouldn't do it this late in the day, but I wanna start the CD Rediscovery Project. I don't BELIEVE I have any appointments tomorrow, but I'm sure Dianne can find something for me to do. What I'm thinking is that many of my iTunes Playlists are on a CD or two.
WEDNESDAY 2/23/22 12:21AM Completed the Rediscovery Project--was only able to use THREE of the dozens of CDs I had found...grateful to have ANY CDs to play in the car.

Musical homework

            THURSDAY 8/4/22 6:19PM-- started doing my band "homework"... Hoping to be ready by Sunday's practice. Made a legible copy (by hand and then laptop) of the songs and their corresponding NOTES. It didn't take too long, but I'm glad I'm finished. 10:22PM-just took the Trazodone...gonna give it until 11PM and then ready or not I'M going to bed. I don't know why, but I'm almost happy the cleaners won't be back for two weeks. This happens every time they come to clean. Tomorrow is Muzzy's play date. Tuesday's just as bad

            TUESDAY 5/17/22 11:16AM-- someone is coming here to give me some sort of check-up. I don't think they represent UHC, but I might be wrong about that. Whoever it is, they're supposed to be here between Noon and 4PM. The sooner they get here, the sooner they'll be gone.  11:45AM--I'm nervous about the upcoming exam. As if I didn't already have enough to worry about, right? I've got bills I think need to be paid; I wanna be alone when I do it, and unless Dianne goes upstairs to work, I won't be. 1:41PM--whoever's coming to examine me should be here shortly...how long will the exam take? I have no idea, but I hope to be trying for a nap before three o'clock. 2:56PM--the exam is over, the young woman just left...I guess I'm in worse shape than I thought. I MIGHT have a mini pizza for dinner. 3:35PM--or not...the last thing I wanna do is ask Dianne to help me cook anything ...so tonight I'll have the Fettucine Alfredo, THAT I know how ...

dumber as ya get older

        MONDAY 5/23/22 8:47AM-It took me awhile, but I (alone) checked my blood sugar. it was 116. I was ok once I found the instruction booklet. I made a really good looking omelet. Today is the last day it's safe to use the eggs.         Dianne is at her doctor's appointment, I think. I'm working on the dishes,  after which...well, I dunno what I'll be doing. IF I can find the energy, I'll go to Hank's--IF I get the chance to warm up, more than a little that is. 5:10PM--the strings on Butterscotch absolutely need to be changed...well, maybe next week I'll bring it to Hank's. I'm still planning on going, but I'm not taking anything but some guitar picks. SueEl still isn't going tonight as far as I know. There might be a Fender amp and Tele already there--I can use that stuff if I get the chance to play. 7:26PM-the amp is here, the Tele is not-as far as I can see. 7:42PM-I guess I’ll be a spectator…such is Life.
