now I'm scared, sooner than I thought I would be

 

      THURSDAY 1/6/22--I was at the Doctor's for awhile. He wrote up a bunch of referrals and two prescriptions. He is short-staffed, as is McD's--it's drive-thru ONLY.
             Dianne says Alvin wants us to come and get the car on Saturday and start using it because it's been sitting so long. Now I'm getting scared, really scared. Not just about driving it, but wondering what kinda shape is it in.
            The cleaners are here, so I'm going to the Library. I can look up books/manuals on Alexa--and the 2010 Sonata too I guess.
1:30PM--and found neither one of 'em...oh well...it's supposed to snow more than a little tonight. And I just cleaned off MY car--dunno why, exactly...Dianne's car is cleaned off, dunno about the Sonata...I guess we'll find out on Saturday.
5:43PM--Now I'm having some trouble conentrating on anything other than the Sonata. I think the plan for Saturday is to go to Riderwood at Lunchtime. That works for me. If weather is gonna cause problems, we can go on Sunday. I guesss the plan for tomorrow is deal with the snow storm.
10:21PM--I don't think I need it any time soon, but the card that proves I've been vaccinated is missing. *I* believe once I clean out my car's glove box thoroughly, I'll find it...I hope so anyway.
11:12PM--Tomorrow will be a long day I suspect.The anticipation of getting the Sonata will drive me crazy if I let it. 
     FRIDAY 1/7/229:10AM-so now the hard-core waiting begins… Dianne’s car needs to be cleaned off if we’re going to go anywhere at any time but my car doesn’t need to be cleaned off quite as urgently. On the other hand, I really need to go through all of the contents of the glove compartment to (hopefully) find my vaccination card. I think in some situations, a photograph will suffice.
    Working on cleaning off Dianne's car...I don't yet see a reason to clean off mine. At some point soon I'll have to move the Corolla, to make a space for the Sonata. Not at all sure I can find a space for my car; I guess I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. I suspect that will be fairly soon. 
12:03PM--I found my vac card. right where I said it might be!!! So far, it has been a good day. I've broken my day up into segments.The morning segment is done; the afternoon segment consists of an attempted nap and Dinner.The evening segment consists of TV watching followed by an attempt at sleep. And then it will be Saturday.

Musical homework

            THURSDAY 8/4/22 6:19PM-- started doing my band "homework"... Hoping to be ready by Sunday's practice. Made a legible copy (by hand and then laptop) of the songs and their corresponding NOTES. It didn't take too long, but I'm glad I'm finished. 10:22PM-just took the Trazodone...gonna give it until 11PM and then ready or not I'M going to bed. I don't know why, but I'm almost happy the cleaners won't be back for two weeks. This happens every time they come to clean. Tomorrow is Muzzy's play date. Tuesday's just as bad

            TUESDAY 5/17/22 11:16AM-- someone is coming here to give me some sort of check-up. I don't think they represent UHC, but I might be wrong about that. Whoever it is, they're supposed to be here between Noon and 4PM. The sooner they get here, the sooner they'll be gone.  11:45AM--I'm nervous about the upcoming exam. As if I didn't already have enough to worry about, right? I've got bills I think need to be paid; I wanna be alone when I do it, and unless Dianne goes upstairs to work, I won't be. 1:41PM--whoever's coming to examine me should be here shortly...how long will the exam take? I have no idea, but I hope to be trying for a nap before three o'clock. 2:56PM--the exam is over, the young woman just left...I guess I'm in worse shape than I thought. I MIGHT have a mini pizza for dinner. 3:35PM--or not...the last thing I wanna do is ask Dianne to help me cook anything ...so tonight I'll have the Fettucine Alfredo, THAT I know how ...

dumber as ya get older

        MONDAY 5/23/22 8:47AM-It took me awhile, but I (alone) checked my blood sugar. it was 116. I was ok once I found the instruction booklet. I made a really good looking omelet. Today is the last day it's safe to use the eggs.         Dianne is at her doctor's appointment, I think. I'm working on the dishes,  after which...well, I dunno what I'll be doing. IF I can find the energy, I'll go to Hank's--IF I get the chance to warm up, more than a little that is. 5:10PM--the strings on Butterscotch absolutely need to be changed...well, maybe next week I'll bring it to Hank's. I'm still planning on going, but I'm not taking anything but some guitar picks. SueEl still isn't going tonight as far as I know. There might be a Fender amp and Tele already there--I can use that stuff if I get the chance to play. 7:26PM-the amp is here, the Tele is not-as far as I can see. 7:42PM-I guess I’ll be a spectator…such is Life.
