first one then the other

 

        WEDNESDAY 1/19/22 8:52AM--I took my ex-Father-in-law to one of his Doctor's appointment a few weeks ago...The Project went well enuff IMO; now it's my Mother-in-law's turn...the difference being that Dianne is going along. She says she's going with me to MY appointment with Dr. Assar. I will be SO glad when it is over...
     So now I've got a car that should get me wherever I wanna go, and we're getting MORE snow--I can't/shouldn't go (almost) ANYwhere...sheesh..
10:41AM – It’s going to be a long LONG day…I brought Janet to her doctor’s appointment; she fell down on the way to the car… Dianne rushed to her side to give her assistance. I don’t know where we are; I couldn’t be more lost if you put a blindfold on me… I’m glad Dianne came with us… the appointment with Dr.Assar will probably be a picnic compared to what I’ve been through this morning so far… I made a sandwich to eat later when I got hungry; naturally, I forgot to bring it with me…
     *I* think if we can’t leave this office by 1 o’clock, I should reschedule the appointment with Dr. Assar.
9:13PM--miraculously, we made it to the Doctor's office on time...he has given me a LOT of stuff to remember, it involves radically changing my diet.The easiest thing I need to do is drink LOTS more water...
10:41PM--in a few minutes I'm gonna take the bedtime meds...
         I think the cleaners are coming tomorrow afternoon...I don't have anywhere I HAVE to be, but I'll figure out a way to get outta the cleaners' way...I DO have some phone calls to make though...The weather might not be so good tomorrow; it's supposed  to snow again. I could definitely do without it. At this point, it is starting to rain some.

Musical homework

            THURSDAY 8/4/22 6:19PM-- started doing my band "homework"... Hoping to be ready by Sunday's practice. Made a legible copy (by hand and then laptop) of the songs and their corresponding NOTES. It didn't take too long, but I'm glad I'm finished. 10:22PM-just took the Trazodone...gonna give it until 11PM and then ready or not I'M going to bed. I don't know why, but I'm almost happy the cleaners won't be back for two weeks. This happens every time they come to clean. Tomorrow is Muzzy's play date. I should be back home by eight thirty, after I go to Safeway and get bologna.       FRIDAY 8/5/22 8:46AM--Dianne is going to the Germantown flea market by herself. She's OK with that. Tuesday's just as bad

            TUESDAY 5/17/22 11:16AM-- someone is coming here to give me some sort of check-up. I don't think they represent UHC, but I might be wrong about that. Whoever it is, they're supposed to be here between Noon and 4PM. The sooner they get here, the sooner they'll be gone.  11:45AM--I'm nervous about the upcoming exam. As if I didn't already have enough to worry about, right? I've got bills I think need to be paid; I wanna be alone when I do it, and unless Dianne goes upstairs to work, I won't be. 1:41PM--whoever's coming to examine me should be here shortly...how long will the exam take? I have no idea, but I hope to be trying for a nap before three o'clock. 2:56PM--the exam is over, the young woman just left...I guess I'm in worse shape than I thought. I MIGHT have a mini pizza for dinner. 3:35PM--or not...the last thing I wanna do is ask Dianne to help me cook anything ...so tonight I'll have the Fettucine Alfredo, THAT I know how ...

dumber as ya get older

        MONDAY 5/23/22 8:47AM-It took me awhile, but I (alone) checked my blood sugar. it was 116. I was ok once I found the instruction booklet. I made a really good looking omelet. Today is the last day it's safe to use the eggs.         Dianne is at her doctor's appointment, I think. I'm working on the dishes,  after which...well, I dunno what I'll be doing. IF I can find the energy, I'll go to Hank's--IF I get the chance to warm up, more than a little that is. 5:10PM--the strings on Butterscotch absolutely need to be changed...well, maybe next week I'll bring it to Hank's. I'm still planning on going, but I'm not taking anything but some guitar picks. SueEl still isn't going tonight as far as I know. There might be a Fender amp and Tele already there--I can use that stuff if I get the chance to play. 7:26PM-the amp is here, the Tele is not-as far as I can see. 7:42PM-I guess I’ll be a spectator…such is Life.
