Why can’t I sleep? oh yeah, THAT'S why

 

           SUNDAY 12/5/21 2:43AM-having a very hard time falling asleep…I’ve taken a bunch of things at this point, hydroxyzine Tylenol some natural plant-based remedy I think that Dianne has… and I’m pretty sure today is going to be a busy day… I think we’re going to Mike and Linda‘s to pick up some more furniture; and I think we’re going to the Unique Thrift Store to donate a piece of her furniture…
9:33AM--I got four hours sleep; I don't think that was enough...I just couldn't turn my Mind off...imagine what I'm gonna be like by Friday...
          I'm doing laundry, specifically jeans...I know we're gonna go "do stuff", I just dunno what or when...and I'm already looking forward to going to bed tonight...
5PM--If I had to re-live the past three hours, I think I'd kill myself...actually the past hour or so wasn't so bad, it was a mini-nap...I KNEW taking possession of M&L's furniture/rugs was gonna be a HUGE Gov't Project...it was SUPERhuge, spread out over two days...horrible...
   So now I can go back to obsessing about the Rhythm Bandits...ugh...
7:07PM--I just got a MAJOR boost to my, er, uh, um...soul I suppose...I think Alvijan might have made a possible decision about their Sonata--maybe...we could take possesion soon...something else to keep me awake at night-great...
11:10PM--OR I can worry about NOT passing the audition...there's one song that features the harmonica--a LOT...if the guy who's leaving can play the intro, I could be in BIG trouble...and there seems to be at least one other guitarist hoping to fill the slot...oy vey...it's gonna be a long week I bet...
MONDAY 12/6/21 10AM--whatever's gonna haappen with the phone call, good or bad, I'm going to Dietle's...I think SueEl wants to go--and Dianne wants me to go...gonna probably go to MY office in a few minutes...
NOON I've been on hold with Medicaire for 40 minutes and counting--if it's a patience test, I'm passing it...
with regard to my guitar playing, it hurts...muscles in my arms and shoulders...but I might have  to get back in shape soon, especially since I'm going to Dietle's...
12:35PM--after about TWO HOURS on the phone, about an HOUR of that on hold, I got my health insurance situation straightened out...I think...if I was a lot younger, I'd do the Snoopy Dance...
1:16PM--MUST try to get a few winks this afternoon...I'm picking up SueEl at 6-ish, the open mic starts at about 7:00...don't expect to do very well, but I have  good reasons...

Musical homework

            THURSDAY 8/4/22 6:19PM-- started doing my band "homework"... Hoping to be ready by Sunday's practice. Made a legible copy (by hand and then laptop) of the songs and their corresponding NOTES. It didn't take too long, but I'm glad I'm finished. 10:22PM-just took the Trazodone...gonna give it until 11PM and then ready or not I'M going to bed. I don't know why, but I'm almost happy the cleaners won't be back for two weeks. This happens every time they come to clean. Tomorrow is Muzzy's play date. I should be back home by eight thirty, after I go to Safeway and get bologna.       FRIDAY 8/5/22 8:46AM--Dianne is going to the Germantown flea market by herself. She's OK with that. Tuesday's just as bad

            TUESDAY 5/17/22 11:16AM-- someone is coming here to give me some sort of check-up. I don't think they represent UHC, but I might be wrong about that. Whoever it is, they're supposed to be here between Noon and 4PM. The sooner they get here, the sooner they'll be gone.  11:45AM--I'm nervous about the upcoming exam. As if I didn't already have enough to worry about, right? I've got bills I think need to be paid; I wanna be alone when I do it, and unless Dianne goes upstairs to work, I won't be. 1:41PM--whoever's coming to examine me should be here shortly...how long will the exam take? I have no idea, but I hope to be trying for a nap before three o'clock. 2:56PM--the exam is over, the young woman just left...I guess I'm in worse shape than I thought. I MIGHT have a mini pizza for dinner. 3:35PM--or not...the last thing I wanna do is ask Dianne to help me cook anything ...so tonight I'll have the Fettucine Alfredo, THAT I know how ...

dumber as ya get older

        MONDAY 5/23/22 8:47AM-It took me awhile, but I (alone) checked my blood sugar. it was 116. I was ok once I found the instruction booklet. I made a really good looking omelet. Today is the last day it's safe to use the eggs.         Dianne is at her doctor's appointment, I think. I'm working on the dishes,  after which...well, I dunno what I'll be doing. IF I can find the energy, I'll go to Hank's--IF I get the chance to warm up, more than a little that is. 5:10PM--the strings on Butterscotch absolutely need to be changed...well, maybe next week I'll bring it to Hank's. I'm still planning on going, but I'm not taking anything but some guitar picks. SueEl still isn't going tonight as far as I know. There might be a Fender amp and Tele already there--I can use that stuff if I get the chance to play. 7:26PM-the amp is here, the Tele is not-as far as I can see. 7:42PM-I guess I’ll be a spectator…such is Life.
