it's REALLY starting today

 

         TUESDAY 12/14/21 4:42PM--I pulled into the gas station gave the guy a $20 bill...had a brief discussion about windshield wipers, got back in my car and started for home...and then I remembered the MAIN reason I went to the gas station in the first place...the Cashier remembered me--I was just there maybe FIVE minutes earlier...it's only gonna get worse, right?
         I think SueEl and I might be going to Hershey's Thursday...The Plan is to sing a gender-switched version of I GOT YOU BABE...after my virtual visit with Habibatu Sesay (about my meds) tomorrow, I should have all day free to practice Cher's part...it doesn't feel like it, 
7:49PM--it's quite possible that my mode of transportation will change radically over the weekend...just the thought of it scares the heck outta me...and leaves me nearly speechless...and Saturday is three long days away...
9:03PM--finding the title is VERY important...but if we must, we will get the duplicate title in the mail, in 7-10 business days...just what I need--another series of patience tests...oh well, nothing I can do about it...Dianne said she'd take a look when she goes upstairs to go to bed...
10:08PM--I'm listening to Phish, but I'm thiking Bandits--and a car...
10:20PM--I really wanna get a solid six hours of sleep tonight...but ya want and what ya get aren't always the same thing...
      WEDNESDAY 12/15/21 11:11AM--my session with Habibatu Sesay went well...I did well with the technology of a Zoom meeting...I should be hearing from CVS sometime today regarding refills...Dunno if Dianne found the title to MY car, dunno if she DIDN'T find it...So far I haven't found my Safety Deposit Box--probably because I'm looking for it...typical...
11:30AM--now my Brain doesn't know WHAT to focus on...maybe that's a good thing. Maybe I can put it all in the back of my Mind.By "all" I mean a car, a band, and a performance.The good news is that I don't think I need the title to DONATE it, which has been the plan from the beginng.UPDATE--now I believe that the State of MD DOES require that I have the title to the car in order to donate it.I will likely have to request a Duplicate Title; I think it takes 7-10 business daysto get that.
.    Dianne can legally own and insure TWO cars, but I must keep my car (and the plates) until I donate it. So I can drive the Sonata as if it were mine--I think  .So I THINK I'll be getting a new car on Saturday--yikes! As if I don't already have too much on my Mind.
3:06PM--DIANNE FOUND THE TITLE!!! That's one less thing to keep me awake...On the other hand, I might lie awake awash in anticipation...
6:40PM--Somehow, NOT easily, I set a new password for my Bank account; thank you Universe...it may be the only one I lost the other day...

9:15PM-I know I’m supposed to go to Hershey’s with SueEl and sing a song or two (just the two of us) but I’m apprehensive about it… unlike most open mics that I’ve been to, The Hershey’s jam features all the musicians on stage at once, playing more or less together… SueEl still wants to go, so we’re going to go.

Musical homework

            THURSDAY 8/4/22 6:19PM-- started doing my band "homework"... Hoping to be ready by Sunday's practice. Made a legible copy (by hand and then laptop) of the songs and their corresponding NOTES. It didn't take too long, but I'm glad I'm finished. 10:22PM-just took the Trazodone...gonna give it until 11PM and then ready or not I'M going to bed. I don't know why, but I'm almost happy the cleaners won't be back for two weeks. This happens every time they come to clean. Tomorrow is Muzzy's play date. Tuesday's just as bad

            TUESDAY 5/17/22 11:16AM-- someone is coming here to give me some sort of check-up. I don't think they represent UHC, but I might be wrong about that. Whoever it is, they're supposed to be here between Noon and 4PM. The sooner they get here, the sooner they'll be gone.  11:45AM--I'm nervous about the upcoming exam. As if I didn't already have enough to worry about, right? I've got bills I think need to be paid; I wanna be alone when I do it, and unless Dianne goes upstairs to work, I won't be. 1:41PM--whoever's coming to examine me should be here shortly...how long will the exam take? I have no idea, but I hope to be trying for a nap before three o'clock. 2:56PM--the exam is over, the young woman just left...I guess I'm in worse shape than I thought. I MIGHT have a mini pizza for dinner. 3:35PM--or not...the last thing I wanna do is ask Dianne to help me cook anything ...so tonight I'll have the Fettucine Alfredo, THAT I know how ...

dumber as ya get older

        MONDAY 5/23/22 8:47AM-It took me awhile, but I (alone) checked my blood sugar. it was 116. I was ok once I found the instruction booklet. I made a really good looking omelet. Today is the last day it's safe to use the eggs.         Dianne is at her doctor's appointment, I think. I'm working on the dishes,  after which...well, I dunno what I'll be doing. IF I can find the energy, I'll go to Hank's--IF I get the chance to warm up, more than a little that is. 5:10PM--the strings on Butterscotch absolutely need to be changed...well, maybe next week I'll bring it to Hank's. I'm still planning on going, but I'm not taking anything but some guitar picks. SueEl still isn't going tonight as far as I know. There might be a Fender amp and Tele already there--I can use that stuff if I get the chance to play. 7:26PM-the amp is here, the Tele is not-as far as I can see. 7:42PM-I guess I’ll be a spectator…such is Life.
