boredom is the new normal I guess

 

             THURSDAY 12/2/21 10:23AM--I think I'm going to Safeway and Potomac Care Pharmacy at some point today, I just dunno when...I still dunno if I feel like doing anything, much less going to Hershey's...I haven't heard from SueEl yet...but I'm fairly certain that I will...
4:34PM--and I did...it's possible neither of us is going; that is to say I'M not going...I dunno what SHE'S gonna do tonight...she DID send me a voicemail, so I should at least text her back, right? UPDATE--I suggested MAYBE we will go to Dietle's on Monday...in other open mic news The Music Café is closing for good on December the 11th...there MIGHT be one more Thursday open mic, but *I* don't know that for a fact...
     In Financial News, I paid off my CapOne credit card this morning and then turned right around this afternoon and used it to pay the MVA to re-register my automobile registration...I guess I could celebrate THAT...*I* didn't have $135 to spend...and isn't that what credit cards are for?
7:55PM--I think I got confirmation of the MVA bill...actually I had until 12/31 to get it done, but I'm glad I took care of it alrady...What was $66 dollars (?) three days ago is now $18 dollars...but I don't, to my knowledge, have any kind of shopping list haunting me--yet...
8:08PM--just got word from Dianne--we're going to Alvijan's for Dinner on Saturday night...I guess I should never turn down a free meal, right?I have no idea what's going on otherwise...perhaps a visit to some thrift store, be it "the doggie place" or Unique...occasionally we go to the "BIG doggie place" on East Gude Drive, but not very often...I guess I could just ask, right?
9:02PM--it's starting to get to the point to where I'm bored listening to Music...THAT scares me at least a little...I don't wanna watch Gray's Anatomy, so I grab the earbuds...that way IF Dianne has something to tell me, I'm right here...and I don't feel like watching...well, whatever I might normally wanna watch...I wait for her to go to bed and then I might watch stuff...It's almost time to take the green capsules...
9:36PM-- and so I did...
10:21PM--I had hoped Dianne would have gone to bed by now but she has not...I'm hopeing to watch something on NetFlix, possibly STAR TREK IV--I think that's the one I wanna see...
10:35PM--Success!!! ST-IV is running, for the next two hours...
11:09PM--I took care of the trash and the recycleables so long ago (right before sundown) it almost feels like it was yesterday...I'm having enough trouble focusing on what day it actually is...

Musical homework

            THURSDAY 8/4/22 6:19PM-- started doing my band "homework"... Hoping to be ready by Sunday's practice. Made a legible copy (by hand and then laptop) of the songs and their corresponding NOTES. It didn't take too long, but I'm glad I'm finished. 10:22PM-just took the Trazodone...gonna give it until 11PM and then ready or not I'M going to bed. I don't know why, but I'm almost happy the cleaners won't be back for two weeks. This happens every time they come to clean. Tomorrow is Muzzy's play date. Tuesday's just as bad

            TUESDAY 5/17/22 11:16AM-- someone is coming here to give me some sort of check-up. I don't think they represent UHC, but I might be wrong about that. Whoever it is, they're supposed to be here between Noon and 4PM. The sooner they get here, the sooner they'll be gone.  11:45AM--I'm nervous about the upcoming exam. As if I didn't already have enough to worry about, right? I've got bills I think need to be paid; I wanna be alone when I do it, and unless Dianne goes upstairs to work, I won't be. 1:41PM--whoever's coming to examine me should be here shortly...how long will the exam take? I have no idea, but I hope to be trying for a nap before three o'clock. 2:56PM--the exam is over, the young woman just left...I guess I'm in worse shape than I thought. I MIGHT have a mini pizza for dinner. 3:35PM--or not...the last thing I wanna do is ask Dianne to help me cook anything ...so tonight I'll have the Fettucine Alfredo, THAT I know how ...

dumber as ya get older

        MONDAY 5/23/22 8:47AM-It took me awhile, but I (alone) checked my blood sugar. it was 116. I was ok once I found the instruction booklet. I made a really good looking omelet. Today is the last day it's safe to use the eggs.         Dianne is at her doctor's appointment, I think. I'm working on the dishes,  after which...well, I dunno what I'll be doing. IF I can find the energy, I'll go to Hank's--IF I get the chance to warm up, more than a little that is. 5:10PM--the strings on Butterscotch absolutely need to be changed...well, maybe next week I'll bring it to Hank's. I'm still planning on going, but I'm not taking anything but some guitar picks. SueEl still isn't going tonight as far as I know. There might be a Fender amp and Tele already there--I can use that stuff if I get the chance to play. 7:26PM-the amp is here, the Tele is not-as far as I can see. 7:42PM-I guess I’ll be a spectator…such is Life.
