         TUESDAY12/21/21 4PM--this could wreck BOTH of our Plans--Dianne allegedly has symptoms of COVID. I think she has to take TWO tests. I belive she'll get the results in time before cancelling or proceding with her trip to Florida. Hopefully, the Universe will be good to both of us.Cheese and crackers, AGAIN with the WAITING--AARGH!!! Oh well, Another chance to live one day at a time, so I will try to do that.
7:37PM--MORE waiting--If Dianne passes her tests, all will be as it should be...
9:11PM- it feels like my life and hers are on hold until we find out whether or not she has Covid…I think neither of us will (or even should) leave the house until we find out what’s what…staying in the house is OK when it’s my idea, but being forced into it? I don’t like that at all.
11:01PM--Dianne initially said MY going out should NOT be a problem, but she instantly reconsidered...And I'm always saying "Better to be safe than sorry."  So I'm putting my money where my mouth is, and staying in until it's safe to go out--whenever that will be...and BTW, my temperature is a bit LOW...
   WEDNESDAY 12/21/21 11:33AM--doing some laundry, hoping I can do more--I've got pretty much all day, and LOTS of it...gonna finish the first basket full (wash and dry) try to take a nap, get up and do more Laundry .I think Dianne will have the results of her first test when she comes home...The results of the 2nd one a couple of days from today I think...
4:22PM--the results of her first test are in--the roomie doesn't have it..I would think she'd be happy; I know *I* am...but she still has a headache...I guess that's why she's so very grouchy...
5:33PM--having Chinese for dinner, that way I won't use any of the cheese or bologna...might not get here until somewhere around 6:15, which is when I gotta get the laudry outta the dryer...
I'm getting excited about the Hershey's Jam, even though I can't guarantee that I'll be able to go...
6:30PM--just saw on FB that The Bandits are playing at Hershey's on Jan15...I strongly suspect they've found the new member they sought...I really hope not...I DO hope Richard will let me know, maybe this evening, I sent him a message...I don't wanna jinx it, so I'm not telling anybody...not that that will make a difference, right? And other than Dianne, who would I tell--Muzzy or Sophie?
7:37PM--I think waiting to hear from Richard is the hardest waiting of all so far...
11:01PM--still haven't heard from Richard; to be fair, I started worrying way too soon. Now, if I don't hear from him by tomorrow before I go to Hershey's--IF I go...

Musical homework

            THURSDAY 8/4/22 6:19PM-- started doing my band "homework"... Hoping to be ready by Sunday's practice. Made a legible copy (by hand and then laptop) of the songs and their corresponding NOTES. It didn't take too long, but I'm glad I'm finished. 10:22PM-just took the Trazodone...gonna give it until 11PM and then ready or not I'M going to bed. I don't know why, but I'm almost happy the cleaners won't be back for two weeks. This happens every time they come to clean. Tomorrow is Muzzy's play date. Tuesday's just as bad

            TUESDAY 5/17/22 11:16AM-- someone is coming here to give me some sort of check-up. I don't think they represent UHC, but I might be wrong about that. Whoever it is, they're supposed to be here between Noon and 4PM. The sooner they get here, the sooner they'll be gone.  11:45AM--I'm nervous about the upcoming exam. As if I didn't already have enough to worry about, right? I've got bills I think need to be paid; I wanna be alone when I do it, and unless Dianne goes upstairs to work, I won't be. 1:41PM--whoever's coming to examine me should be here shortly...how long will the exam take? I have no idea, but I hope to be trying for a nap before three o'clock. 2:56PM--the exam is over, the young woman just left...I guess I'm in worse shape than I thought. I MIGHT have a mini pizza for dinner. 3:35PM--or not...the last thing I wanna do is ask Dianne to help me cook anything ...so tonight I'll have the Fettucine Alfredo, THAT I know how ...

dumber as ya get older

        MONDAY 5/23/22 8:47AM-It took me awhile, but I (alone) checked my blood sugar. it was 116. I was ok once I found the instruction booklet. I made a really good looking omelet. Today is the last day it's safe to use the eggs.         Dianne is at her doctor's appointment, I think. I'm working on the dishes,  after which...well, I dunno what I'll be doing. IF I can find the energy, I'll go to Hank's--IF I get the chance to warm up, more than a little that is. 5:10PM--the strings on Butterscotch absolutely need to be changed...well, maybe next week I'll bring it to Hank's. I'm still planning on going, but I'm not taking anything but some guitar picks. SueEl still isn't going tonight as far as I know. There might be a Fender amp and Tele already there--I can use that stuff if I get the chance to play. 7:26PM-the amp is here, the Tele is not-as far as I can see. 7:42PM-I guess I’ll be a spectator…such is Life.
