Anticlimax

 

            MONDAY 10/3/22 7:35PM--I took the stress test. The hardest part was walking on the treadmill.         I didn't/couldn't take the full walk, so I took the reduced version--fewer minutes of walking. Hopefully they found out what they wanted to know. To go over the results, there is a virtual on Wednesday at 4:30PM. There's other stuff going on as well, but I'd have to check my phone--and I just don't feel like it right now.
TUESDAY 10/4/22 5:05PM--I think SueEl and I are going to Blinkie's karaoke at Hershey's tonight. I feel like it more now than I did this morning. As for tomorrow, I'll think about it--tomorrow.
9:42PM--had a pretty good night at Hershey's once I FINALLY got the name of the song I wanted to do AND its' title. Very VERY frustrating. But I sang the songs I picked quite well. And SueEl knocked HER two songs outta the Park.
10:35PM--it's not tomorrow, so I don't intend to think about it yet.
WEDNESDAY 10/5/22 10:21AM--just finished retrieving Dianne's MANY photos from their various albums. At least I think I'm finished. So I'm done "working" until later this afternoon. And what I have to do should be a whole lot easier. Maybe...
11:27AM--Instead of going to Bippy's pub on Thursday, I just might go to a joint in Severna Park. I'm already nervous about it. The only song I've come up with so far is Pink Cadillac. THAT might be my last public appearance as a musician.
11:45AM--I thought I was retired, but I'm not sure. I seem to have so many Dr.'s appointments and bills to take care of. I guess I can look forward to getting stressed out every week. And that REALLY sucks if you ask me. No wonder I'm starting to feel old. And I don't like that either. I'm certainly a bit more handsome these days, not that it EVEN matters anymore.
3:27PM I think the MRI scheduling will have to wait until tomorrow--what's one more day, right? The televisit with Dr. Lal is in about an hour--I think Dianne will be out doing stuff.
4:26PM--no, she's still here...the stress test went well except for some technical stuff that I don't understand

Musical homework

            THURSDAY 8/4/22 6:19PM-- started doing my band "homework"... Hoping to be ready by Sunday's practice. Made a legible copy (by hand and then laptop) of the songs and their corresponding NOTES. It didn't take too long, but I'm glad I'm finished. 10:22PM-just took the Trazodone...gonna give it until 11PM and then ready or not I'M going to bed. I don't know why, but I'm almost happy the cleaners won't be back for two weeks. This happens every time they come to clean. Tomorrow is Muzzy's play date. I should be back home by eight thirty, after I go to Safeway and get bologna.       FRIDAY 8/5/22 8:46AM--Dianne is going to the Germantown flea market by herself. She's OK with that. Tuesday's just as bad

            TUESDAY 5/17/22 11:16AM-- someone is coming here to give me some sort of check-up. I don't think they represent UHC, but I might be wrong about that. Whoever it is, they're supposed to be here between Noon and 4PM. The sooner they get here, the sooner they'll be gone.  11:45AM--I'm nervous about the upcoming exam. As if I didn't already have enough to worry about, right? I've got bills I think need to be paid; I wanna be alone when I do it, and unless Dianne goes upstairs to work, I won't be. 1:41PM--whoever's coming to examine me should be here shortly...how long will the exam take? I have no idea, but I hope to be trying for a nap before three o'clock. 2:56PM--the exam is over, the young woman just left...I guess I'm in worse shape than I thought. I MIGHT have a mini pizza for dinner. 3:35PM--or not...the last thing I wanna do is ask Dianne to help me cook anything ...so tonight I'll have the Fettucine Alfredo, THAT I know how ...

dumber as ya get older

        MONDAY 5/23/22 8:47AM-It took me awhile, but I (alone) checked my blood sugar. it was 116. I was ok once I found the instruction booklet. I made a really good looking omelet. Today is the last day it's safe to use the eggs.         Dianne is at her doctor's appointment, I think. I'm working on the dishes,  after which...well, I dunno what I'll be doing. IF I can find the energy, I'll go to Hank's--IF I get the chance to warm up, more than a little that is. 5:10PM--the strings on Butterscotch absolutely need to be changed...well, maybe next week I'll bring it to Hank's. I'm still planning on going, but I'm not taking anything but some guitar picks. SueEl still isn't going tonight as far as I know. There might be a Fender amp and Tele already there--I can use that stuff if I get the chance to play. 7:26PM-the amp is here, the Tele is not-as far as I can see. 7:42PM-I guess I’ll be a spectator…such is Life.
