maybe the bloom is off the rose

TUESDAY 6/14/55 9:26PM--I dunno why but I'm just really sleepy or tired or something...I don't feel like doing much of anything, except sleeping. But it's WAY too early to go to bed. Tomorrow I really wanna buy acoustic guitar strings from somewhere and put 'em on tomorrow if at all possible. I'll try Pritchard's first. They open at 1PM on Wednesday.
WEDNESDAY 6/15/22 1:21PM--the plan is to go to Prichard's later today. Dianne is leaving at around 2PM to (among other things) take her Father to his Dr,'s appointment. I think she's also having dinner with her parents. Ahh, freedom!
6:16PM--went to Pritchard's, got new acoustic guitar strings...put 'em on, in about 45 minutes. Lou and I are going out tomorrow night as far as I know.
9:11PM--Heard from Bob...the Project is still (slowly but surely) happening. with who exactly, I don't know.
THURSDAY 6/16/22 1:02PM--Lou wants to shake things up a little, get out of the rut we're in. I made a suggestion (for me to sing) MOST EXCLUSIVE RESIDENCE FOR SALE by the Kinks. He says that's too much for him to learn in a couple of hours--that surprises me. I guess it seems easy to me because *I* already know it. So we'll stick with the normal stuff. Boring though that may be.
7:44PM-I was wishing that I brought my capo, so I could play MR. QUARANTINE MAN… But there are some really good songwriters here tonight, so I’ll stick to what I know  best.
8:17PM-other than tuning problems throughout the first number, *I* think L&S did good. Not quite sure Lou agrees with me. I think this open mic goes until 10PM; perhaps L&S aren’t done yet.
Sure enough, we did a few more, with Jack Bond on lead guitar, for whatever reason.
11:33PM--I'm glad I went, even though there wasn't much of an audience, and not many performers either.
FRIDAY 6/17/22 8:19AM--As far as I know, SueEl and I are having Lunch together. I dunno when or where, but I'll find out eventually I suppose. I went to the Bank; I felt that I had no choice. Now I gotta pinch pennies until they squeal, and I've got about $250 dollars to last until the next check comes.
2:23PM--lunch with SueEl was pleasant enough, but now I'm hoping for a nap...As for dinner, I'm thinking hot dogs...
9:52PM--I had mac & cheese instead; and an ear of corn. Dianne and I are going to some kinda flea market/store tomorrow. It's at the northern most end of my old neighborhood.
