sometimes it works, sometime not

 

   WEDNESDAY 4/27/22 9:09PM--I never know when I will get to my diary when I wanna; or Facebook or zen coloring or...anything. Hopefully that will fade away.
10:25PM--I fear that (for whatever reason) my iTunes Library is gone. I dunno where it is; IF it's in the laptop at all
   THURSDAY 4/28/22 9:06AM--Dianne's house is as ready for the cleaners as I'm gonna make it.I got quite a surprise just now. The beard trimmer that I threw in the trash because *I* thought it had died, suddenly came to Life. (sigh) Go figure. 
10:50AM-still learning how to do things, but...it's kinda like to get to the basement I have to go outside and around to the back of the house and come in thru the sliding door...it works, but there's a faster way than that.
11:03AM--found an indirect way to get to certain apps I like...it'll have to do for now.
11:10AM--here's a horrible possibility--I don't have iTunes AT ALL, not even a little.
11:28AM--and suddenly I'm having trouble getting into anything Microsoft, in spite of all the passwords I've used.
Well, I was fairly happy when I woke up; NOW? not so much. I think I can get to all things Google because I made it one of my FAVORITES So I think I can get to Google Docs, Google Photos, and my Gmail too. But it ain't all that easy--yet.
5:17PM--well, I went to where I THOUGHT I was supposed go to see the nephrologist, but I had the wrong location...or more precisely, the referral listed the wrong location. In any case, I rescheduled the appointment.
      In other news. SueEl doesn't feel like going out tonight, which is fine because *I* don't either. In tech News, I'm starting to get used to having a touchscreen keyboard; and the backlighting works as well. The next Geek Squad visit is still, as far as *I* know, scheduled for tomorrow at 7:20PM.
6:09PM--I went out to Safeway and got two bottles of soda, nothing more. That kinda makes me happy.

Musical homework

            THURSDAY 8/4/22 6:19PM-- started doing my band "homework"... Hoping to be ready by Sunday's practice. Made a legible copy (by hand and then laptop) of the songs and their corresponding NOTES. It didn't take too long, but I'm glad I'm finished. 10:22PM-just took the Trazodone...gonna give it until 11PM and then ready or not I'M going to bed. I don't know why, but I'm almost happy the cleaners won't be back for two weeks. This happens every time they come to clean. Tomorrow is Muzzy's play date. I should be back home by eight thirty, after I go to Safeway and get bologna.       FRIDAY 8/5/22 8:46AM--Dianne is going to the Germantown flea market by herself. She's OK with that. Tuesday's just as bad

            TUESDAY 5/17/22 11:16AM-- someone is coming here to give me some sort of check-up. I don't think they represent UHC, but I might be wrong about that. Whoever it is, they're supposed to be here between Noon and 4PM. The sooner they get here, the sooner they'll be gone.  11:45AM--I'm nervous about the upcoming exam. As if I didn't already have enough to worry about, right? I've got bills I think need to be paid; I wanna be alone when I do it, and unless Dianne goes upstairs to work, I won't be. 1:41PM--whoever's coming to examine me should be here shortly...how long will the exam take? I have no idea, but I hope to be trying for a nap before three o'clock. 2:56PM--the exam is over, the young woman just left...I guess I'm in worse shape than I thought. I MIGHT have a mini pizza for dinner. 3:35PM--or not...the last thing I wanna do is ask Dianne to help me cook anything ...so tonight I'll have the Fettucine Alfredo, THAT I know how ...

dumber as ya get older

        MONDAY 5/23/22 8:47AM-It took me awhile, but I (alone) checked my blood sugar. it was 116. I was ok once I found the instruction booklet. I made a really good looking omelet. Today is the last day it's safe to use the eggs.         Dianne is at her doctor's appointment, I think. I'm working on the dishes,  after which...well, I dunno what I'll be doing. IF I can find the energy, I'll go to Hank's--IF I get the chance to warm up, more than a little that is. 5:10PM--the strings on Butterscotch absolutely need to be changed...well, maybe next week I'll bring it to Hank's. I'm still planning on going, but I'm not taking anything but some guitar picks. SueEl still isn't going tonight as far as I know. There might be a Fender amp and Tele already there--I can use that stuff if I get the chance to play. 7:26PM-the amp is here, the Tele is not-as far as I can see. 7:42PM-I guess I’ll be a spectator…such is Life.
