If I don’t jinx it

         

            THURSDAY 4/14/22 9AM-all I wanna do is write in my journal and now that has become a government project. Specifically trying to delete an entry has become a government project – I don’t fucking know why.
    When the cleaning crew gets here, which could be any minute now or an hour from now, I’m leaving to go to Aldi’s to do some grocery shopping; but first I’ll stop by the library because I don’t want the food to sit in the car for two hours. And hopefully the library will be nice and quiet.
11:56AM-- it was...I got a book and a DVD.
12:16PM--I'm thinking nap time will be 1:30 until (hopefully) 4PM. I will shower and shave, have Dinner at 5-ish.Whatever I'm gona eat... I DO wanna stretch the strings a little and hopefully warm up some before I leave.
4:20PM--well the strings on Butterscotch II are as stretched as I can make 'em. I've even set all the knobs on the amp the way I think I want 'em. The regular host and his lovely wife, won't be there tonight, so I'm even more nervous than usual. In my head I'm kinda rockin' a little. I suspect the reality will be different.
8:25PM-Well I made it to Bippy’s. Sue Ellen came with me but she went off to talk to her bandmates and I haven’t  talked to her since. The mozzarella sticks are good though. 
FRIDAY 4/15/22 1:17AM--again, I got excited about playing at an open mic. And again I sucked.At first I couldn't hear myself; by the time I could, my three song set was nearly over.
      8:30AM--I'm gonna put new strings on BII, a thicker guage. I think I'm gonna get 'em from Pritchard's in the Kentlands; It should be quicker than going Litz I'm just not sure when I'm I'm gonna put 'em on. I think today is the best day to put 'em on. I dunno how busy Dianne and I are gonna be over the weekend, other than a trip to Riderwood--tomorrow I think.

Musical homework

            THURSDAY 8/4/22 6:19PM-- started doing my band "homework"... Hoping to be ready by Sunday's practice. Made a legible copy (by hand and then laptop) of the songs and their corresponding NOTES. It didn't take too long, but I'm glad I'm finished. 10:22PM-just took the Trazodone...gonna give it until 11PM and then ready or not I'M going to bed. I don't know why, but I'm almost happy the cleaners won't be back for two weeks. This happens every time they come to clean. Tomorrow is Muzzy's play date. I should be back home by eight thirty, after I go to Safeway and get bologna.       FRIDAY 8/5/22 8:46AM--Dianne is going to the Germantown flea market by herself. She's OK with that. Tuesday's just as bad

            TUESDAY 5/17/22 11:16AM-- someone is coming here to give me some sort of check-up. I don't think they represent UHC, but I might be wrong about that. Whoever it is, they're supposed to be here between Noon and 4PM. The sooner they get here, the sooner they'll be gone.  11:45AM--I'm nervous about the upcoming exam. As if I didn't already have enough to worry about, right? I've got bills I think need to be paid; I wanna be alone when I do it, and unless Dianne goes upstairs to work, I won't be. 1:41PM--whoever's coming to examine me should be here shortly...how long will the exam take? I have no idea, but I hope to be trying for a nap before three o'clock. 2:56PM--the exam is over, the young woman just left...I guess I'm in worse shape than I thought. I MIGHT have a mini pizza for dinner. 3:35PM--or not...the last thing I wanna do is ask Dianne to help me cook anything ...so tonight I'll have the Fettucine Alfredo, THAT I know how ...

dumber as ya get older

        MONDAY 5/23/22 8:47AM-It took me awhile, but I (alone) checked my blood sugar. it was 116. I was ok once I found the instruction booklet. I made a really good looking omelet. Today is the last day it's safe to use the eggs.         Dianne is at her doctor's appointment, I think. I'm working on the dishes,  after which...well, I dunno what I'll be doing. IF I can find the energy, I'll go to Hank's--IF I get the chance to warm up, more than a little that is. 5:10PM--the strings on Butterscotch absolutely need to be changed...well, maybe next week I'll bring it to Hank's. I'm still planning on going, but I'm not taking anything but some guitar picks. SueEl still isn't going tonight as far as I know. There might be a Fender amp and Tele already there--I can use that stuff if I get the chance to play. 7:26PM-the amp is here, the Tele is not-as far as I can see. 7:42PM-I guess I’ll be a spectator…such is Life.
