I just can't catch a break

 

      TUESDAY 7:38PM--Now, of course, I can't remember what the good omen was but, *I* took it to mean I could stop at Litz and come home with a Telecaster. There IS an open mic on Wednesday, at JV's. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna try for it.
7:53PM--and I just found out that the JV's open mic scheduled for tomorrow is (allegedly) NOT happening tomorrow. I just can not catch a f**king break.
     Like I often say, All of Life is a Patience Test. And I lost most if not all of mine decades ago.
10:38PM--I hope three Trazodones is enough to help me fall asleep. We'll find out in about twenty minutes.
11PM--here goes...wish me luck.
WEDNESDAY 4/5/22 5:50AM--I'm gonna wait one more day before I buy the Tele. As far as I know there's NO open mic at JV's this week, so I don't need it for that. I'm going out with Lou Thursday to an acoustic open mic, so I don't need it for that. I guess I won't need it until Monday, dammit. Oh well, Such is Life.
   As far as I know SueEl and I are having Lunch together at 12:30.
4:05PM--and so we did. I think we both had a good time.
4:15PM--starting to get nervous about going to Litz tomorrow...I'm not good at bargaining--I'll likely accept any deal they offer me.

6:51PM-As if I wasn’t getting messed with enough, the Universe has decided to screw up my laptop again. I made an appointment for Friday morning but it’s hard to live without a laptop once ya get used to having one.
  7:21PM-There's some things I can't currently do on the laptop but this blog doesn't seem to be one of 'em. And neither is Flakebook. At least for now. And neither is Zen Coloring, youTube and iTunes.

Musical homework

            THURSDAY 8/4/22 6:19PM-- started doing my band "homework"... Hoping to be ready by Sunday's practice. Made a legible copy (by hand and then laptop) of the songs and their corresponding NOTES. It didn't take too long, but I'm glad I'm finished. 10:22PM-just took the Trazodone...gonna give it until 11PM and then ready or not I'M going to bed. I don't know why, but I'm almost happy the cleaners won't be back for two weeks. This happens every time they come to clean. Tomorrow is Muzzy's play date. Guess I'll have to get used to it

        SUNDAY 3/20/22 10:50AM--the process of getting older can't be stopped, so I guess I'll have to get used to it. I had an ugly omelete for breakfast, but it tasted good. I'm going to Best Buy with the roomie, and we're dropping off some stuff at  "the doggie place" after which I dunno what's happening.   12:35PM--I shoulda had Lunch by now, but breakfast was late, so Lunch will be too and Dinner also for that matter. 5:30PM--I didn't start my nap until about 4:00, but it lasted almost an hour and a half. Dinner will likely be at 7, probably no sooner. *I* think it will be Fettuccine Alfredo, what the Universe has in Mind, I have no idea. 8:05PM-I can’t make it to Physical Therapy; I have to call them to let them know. I’m getting a visit from the UHC rep…SueEl wants to go to Dietle’s…I don’t-yet. MONDAY 3/21/22 9:25AM--I cancelled my physical therapy appointment. Cancelling it was almost TOO easy. Tuesday's just as bad

            TUESDAY 5/17/22 11:16AM-- someone is coming here to give me some sort of check-up. I don't think they represent UHC, but I might be wrong about that. Whoever it is, they're supposed to be here between Noon and 4PM. The sooner they get here, the sooner they'll be gone.  11:45AM--I'm nervous about the upcoming exam. As if I didn't already have enough to worry about, right? I've got bills I think need to be paid; I wanna be alone when I do it, and unless Dianne goes upstairs to work, I won't be. 1:41PM--whoever's coming to examine me should be here shortly...how long will the exam take? I have no idea, but I hope to be trying for a nap before three o'clock. 2:56PM--the exam is over, the young woman just left...I guess I'm in worse shape than I thought. I MIGHT have a mini pizza for dinner. 3:35PM--or not...the last thing I wanna do is ask Dianne to help me cook anything ...so tonight I'll have the Fettucine Alfredo, THAT I know how ...
