Lotsa stuff going on

 

SATURDAY 4/30/228:04AM-coming to the Mount Airy flea market/yard sale was, in my opinion, a bad idea. At least it was a bad idea when you are me. I think if Dianne wants to see everything we will still be here at dinner time – I’m not kidding.
    For a while there, I was totally convinced that I wouldn’t be able to find the car. For once the  Universe was on my side – I found it. And it turns out Dianne knows approximately where it is already.
I don’t need anything, I mean ANYTHING. In my opinion, Dianne doesn’t need anything either. Like I’ve said before, we are a ranch house full of stuff crammed into a townhouse. I’m thinking the Dianne might start thinking that every dealer’s area looks alike, more or less. I’m hoping will be out of here before lunchtime; but who’s to say?
8:41AM-not bringing a “thermos” full of water, like Dianne did, was another bad idea. On the other hand, it’s a long way to the PortaSans
9:30AM-I know it’s not, but it feels like it’s almost noon or something.
9:37AM- And now I’m starting to get hungry. And it’s not even 10 o’clock; she might shop for another half hour or more, but I sure hope not.
11:29AM-we stopped at Weis Markets across the street from the place where the yard sale was. Now I’m starting to think that buying Klondike bars was a mistake..
3:36PM-I got a teeny tiny nap, washed up, shaved and put out the clothes I wanna wear tonight. And I brought Butterscotch up from the basement.I think I'm as ready as I'm gonna be.
4:21PM--so, I'M ready, where's Dianne? On her way home from Lowe's allegedly.
4:30PM--I think we're leaving at 4:45 or so. Dinner with her Parents is stressful for everybody, so hopefully it will be somewhat brief. If I had MY way, we'd be home just after 7:30.
9:51PM-I just got offstage playing with ITN. I  played and sang Green River. Frankly, it wasn’t bad–maybe an 8 on a scale of 10. I REALLY want my Tele to FEEL like Joe’s and it doesn’t yet. I think I’m gonna try Pritchard’s-I think they can put new (thicker?) strings on it and raise the action. They’re not just a Music School anymore.
