SURPRISE

   

     MONDAY2/14/22 4:46PM-Well, it’s a minor miracle but I made it to Pirates Cove without screwing up directionally speaking. I just happen to be insanely early… Ray says he won’t be here till 5 o’clock; we’ll see about that lol
      I AM a bit concerned about the gear being in the car…It doesn’t take long for the interior of the car to get cold again.
      TUESDAY 2/15/22 7:52AM--I got about six hours of sleep; I wanted more of course, but I'm surprised I got as much as I did. Already been to McDs for breakfast...I have no idea how long I'll be at Dr. Lin's office, but I'd like to be home by Noon. She's a neurologist. I THINK she's supposed to be working on my left leg...because, however graceful I MIGHT have been, I'm not graceful anymore.
12:54PM--finally got home, I've been going since 7:00AM...I MUST HAVE A NAP.
9PM-- but of course I didn't really get one...had to go to the nearest Veriaon store--all my VoiceMessages suddenly disappeared...I think I got 'em back.
  9:22PM-- As bad as today has been, I predict tomorrow will be worse--I'm taking Janet to a Doctor's appointment. I think I'd  rather have root canal (awake) than drive her anywhere...the trip with Alvin went well IMO, but Janet is not Alvin. I think she's gonna be a nervous wreck until I get her back home, and that doesn't help ME remain calm...
9:37PM--I DID manage to cook up four CDs, each one featuring a wide variety of Songs I like. I might re-program my Radio; that's surprisingly easy.
If ever there was a night where I needed as much sleep as I could get, it's TONIGHT. And I found out the cleaners are coming on Thursday--UGH.

WEDNESDAY 9:33AM-If I can survive this, I can possibly survive anything. Dianne came along, but that didn’t prevent me from making a mistake – I missed a turn… But we got here, that’s the important thing. *I* think these glasses are not right-but at least they’re paid for.

10:49 AM-Well it’s done and over with as far as I can tell; the only thing left for Dianne and me to do is have lunch and then we’ll go home and do stuff. And there’s LOTSA stuff to do-laundry is NOT a high priority item. There’s plenty of other stuff to do…

Musical homework

            THURSDAY 8/4/22 6:19PM-- started doing my band "homework"... Hoping to be ready by Sunday's practice. Made a legible copy (by hand and then laptop) of the songs and their corresponding NOTES. It didn't take too long, but I'm glad I'm finished. 10:22PM-just took the Trazodone...gonna give it until 11PM and then ready or not I'M going to bed. I don't know why, but I'm almost happy the cleaners won't be back for two weeks. This happens every time they come to clean. Tomorrow is Muzzy's play date. I should be back home by eight thirty, after I go to Safeway and get bologna.       FRIDAY 8/5/22 8:46AM--Dianne is going to the Germantown flea market by herself. She's OK with that. Tuesday's just as bad

            TUESDAY 5/17/22 11:16AM-- someone is coming here to give me some sort of check-up. I don't think they represent UHC, but I might be wrong about that. Whoever it is, they're supposed to be here between Noon and 4PM. The sooner they get here, the sooner they'll be gone.  11:45AM--I'm nervous about the upcoming exam. As if I didn't already have enough to worry about, right? I've got bills I think need to be paid; I wanna be alone when I do it, and unless Dianne goes upstairs to work, I won't be. 1:41PM--whoever's coming to examine me should be here shortly...how long will the exam take? I have no idea, but I hope to be trying for a nap before three o'clock. 2:56PM--the exam is over, the young woman just left...I guess I'm in worse shape than I thought. I MIGHT have a mini pizza for dinner. 3:35PM--or not...the last thing I wanna do is ask Dianne to help me cook anything ...so tonight I'll have the Fettucine Alfredo, THAT I know how ...

dumber as ya get older

        MONDAY 5/23/22 8:47AM-It took me awhile, but I (alone) checked my blood sugar. it was 116. I was ok once I found the instruction booklet. I made a really good looking omelet. Today is the last day it's safe to use the eggs.         Dianne is at her doctor's appointment, I think. I'm working on the dishes,  after which...well, I dunno what I'll be doing. IF I can find the energy, I'll go to Hank's--IF I get the chance to warm up, more than a little that is. 5:10PM--the strings on Butterscotch absolutely need to be changed...well, maybe next week I'll bring it to Hank's. I'm still planning on going, but I'm not taking anything but some guitar picks. SueEl still isn't going tonight as far as I know. There might be a Fender amp and Tele already there--I can use that stuff if I get the chance to play. 7:26PM-the amp is here, the Tele is not-as far as I can see. 7:42PM-I guess I’ll be a spectator…such is Life.
