One Less Thing

 

        WEDNESDAY 2/23/22 9:04AM-It feels like I've got a lot to do, but I've got all day to do 'em. As always, there's laundry to do. And I'm supposed to bring the white file cabinet back downstairs, fold the tarp...I guess I'll be working alone.
          4:24PM--As for going to Bippy's Pub  tomorrow, They're calling for snow--in which case, I won't go. With my luck it will start snowing when we get there. I tried to fold the tarp in a precise manner, but it was too breezy. I crumpled it up to the best of my ability and put it on the deck. And I got the stool, just in time to (not?) take it with me to Bippy's...If I forget my guitar or amp I might be able to borrow one, but if I forget the stool, I'm at least halfway screwed.
5:07PM--The stool is in the car. They're still calling for snow sometime on Thursday, FWIW.
10:52PM--we're still fighting...it feels to ME like the pot calling the kettle "Black". I think I'M the kettle; in any case I think it's gonna be a long LONG day tomorrow. And a LONG night tonight.
11:06 PM--Although I really want to, it's too early to go to bed.  I am going upstairs at Midnight, I just hope she will be asleep by then.
THURSDAY 2/24/22 11:42PM--It's been a rough day, if you ask ME. I finally got a battery for the watch Dianne bought for me. The battery cost more than the watch. Dunno what I'm gonna do with the old one; guess I'll save it just in case.
         I ordered a CD "wallet" for the Car; I might be getting it tomorrow.
FRIDAY 2/25/22 8:47AM--I'm pretty sure I would feel at least a little better if the Sun was out. Delivered Muzzy to "daycare"...couldn't find THE leash, so I used A leash...Not counting Laundry, I've got LOTS to do around here. I just don't yet have the energy.
11:42AM--SueEl is joining some Balto area band; I guess that puts an end to the proposed Duo Act.
7PM--the new skillet came today, as did my CD wallet...

Musical homework

            THURSDAY 8/4/22 6:19PM-- started doing my band "homework"... Hoping to be ready by Sunday's practice. Made a legible copy (by hand and then laptop) of the songs and their corresponding NOTES. It didn't take too long, but I'm glad I'm finished. 10:22PM-just took the Trazodone...gonna give it until 11PM and then ready or not I'M going to bed. I don't know why, but I'm almost happy the cleaners won't be back for two weeks. This happens every time they come to clean. Tomorrow is Muzzy's play date. I should be back home by eight thirty, after I go to Safeway and get bologna.       FRIDAY 8/5/22 8:46AM--Dianne is going to the Germantown flea market by herself. She's OK with that. Tuesday's just as bad

            TUESDAY 5/17/22 11:16AM-- someone is coming here to give me some sort of check-up. I don't think they represent UHC, but I might be wrong about that. Whoever it is, they're supposed to be here between Noon and 4PM. The sooner they get here, the sooner they'll be gone.  11:45AM--I'm nervous about the upcoming exam. As if I didn't already have enough to worry about, right? I've got bills I think need to be paid; I wanna be alone when I do it, and unless Dianne goes upstairs to work, I won't be. 1:41PM--whoever's coming to examine me should be here shortly...how long will the exam take? I have no idea, but I hope to be trying for a nap before three o'clock. 2:56PM--the exam is over, the young woman just left...I guess I'm in worse shape than I thought. I MIGHT have a mini pizza for dinner. 3:35PM--or not...the last thing I wanna do is ask Dianne to help me cook anything ...so tonight I'll have the Fettucine Alfredo, THAT I know how ...

dumber as ya get older

        MONDAY 5/23/22 8:47AM-It took me awhile, but I (alone) checked my blood sugar. it was 116. I was ok once I found the instruction booklet. I made a really good looking omelet. Today is the last day it's safe to use the eggs.         Dianne is at her doctor's appointment, I think. I'm working on the dishes,  after which...well, I dunno what I'll be doing. IF I can find the energy, I'll go to Hank's--IF I get the chance to warm up, more than a little that is. 5:10PM--the strings on Butterscotch absolutely need to be changed...well, maybe next week I'll bring it to Hank's. I'm still planning on going, but I'm not taking anything but some guitar picks. SueEl still isn't going tonight as far as I know. There might be a Fender amp and Tele already there--I can use that stuff if I get the chance to play. 7:26PM-the amp is here, the Tele is not-as far as I can see. 7:42PM-I guess I’ll be a spectator…such is Life.
