...the more they stay the same.MONDAY 1/17/22 10:15AM--the fall I took yesterday (the 2nd one of the day?) caused me to hurt my back--more than a little, but not too much...if I'm especially careful (snail's pace) I'm ok--not great, but good enough...
          I don't need to go anywhere, like the grocery store, but I WANT to. I think the weather will improve at least a little, just in time to snow some more...I just can't seem to get a break that lasts more than a few seconds. I guess that's better than no breaks at all, right?
       Ray is coming over in February, but the gigs will just be Ray and...Johnny V., except for February the 18th. Playing just the acoustic has advantages--wait, Ray just sent me a message--Johnny V. is allegedly gonna do a little of both. That's not MY first choice.
6:03PM--it has been a horrible day...when the best thing to happen is getting a Dr.'s  appointment, you  know it's bad day, a horrible day.
TUESDAY 1/18/22 12:48PM--The Sun is out (for now) but it's still uncomfortably cold IMO. Went to see Gendal; got another blood draw...taking the bandage off is, surprisingly, much more painful than getting the shot.
4:38PM--went to another Doctor for something with which to treat low potassium levels...it's a bad testing powder ya mix with water...I suspect it tastes like mud...
4:53PM--I managed to have a bowl of chicken noodle soup w/o spilling a drop.These days I consider THAT to be a very big deal.
      The weather is gonna be Winter-like for the rest of this week, if not longer...after all it IS January, right? Spring seems a LONG way off...
5:25PM--the shit just keeps on falling on me...back in early December I bought a package of sox...they went missing...I found them a day or so ago...they are NOT ankle length--I was sure I checked that when I bought 'em, that's WHY I bought 'em...there's $20 bucks down the drain...I don't mind getting shit dumped on me if I deserve it, and I probably deserve a little bit, but surely not this much...
9:27PM--I dunno why, but there was some kinda glitch in the laptop; I had to re-start it. I'm thinking about putting it in the shop in early February.

Musical homework

            THURSDAY 8/4/22 6:19PM-- started doing my band "homework"... Hoping to be ready by Sunday's practice. Made a legible copy (by hand and then laptop) of the songs and their corresponding NOTES. It didn't take too long, but I'm glad I'm finished. 10:22PM-just took the Trazodone...gonna give it until 11PM and then ready or not I'M going to bed. I don't know why, but I'm almost happy the cleaners won't be back for two weeks. This happens every time they come to clean. Tomorrow is Muzzy's play date. Tuesday's just as bad

            TUESDAY 5/17/22 11:16AM-- someone is coming here to give me some sort of check-up. I don't think they represent UHC, but I might be wrong about that. Whoever it is, they're supposed to be here between Noon and 4PM. The sooner they get here, the sooner they'll be gone.  11:45AM--I'm nervous about the upcoming exam. As if I didn't already have enough to worry about, right? I've got bills I think need to be paid; I wanna be alone when I do it, and unless Dianne goes upstairs to work, I won't be. 1:41PM--whoever's coming to examine me should be here shortly...how long will the exam take? I have no idea, but I hope to be trying for a nap before three o'clock. 2:56PM--the exam is over, the young woman just left...I guess I'm in worse shape than I thought. I MIGHT have a mini pizza for dinner. 3:35PM--or not...the last thing I wanna do is ask Dianne to help me cook anything ...so tonight I'll have the Fettucine Alfredo, THAT I know how ...

dumber as ya get older

        MONDAY 5/23/22 8:47AM-It took me awhile, but I (alone) checked my blood sugar. it was 116. I was ok once I found the instruction booklet. I made a really good looking omelet. Today is the last day it's safe to use the eggs.         Dianne is at her doctor's appointment, I think. I'm working on the dishes,  after which...well, I dunno what I'll be doing. IF I can find the energy, I'll go to Hank's--IF I get the chance to warm up, more than a little that is. 5:10PM--the strings on Butterscotch absolutely need to be changed...well, maybe next week I'll bring it to Hank's. I'm still planning on going, but I'm not taking anything but some guitar picks. SueEl still isn't going tonight as far as I know. There might be a Fender amp and Tele already there--I can use that stuff if I get the chance to play. 7:26PM-the amp is here, the Tele is not-as far as I can see. 7:42PM-I guess I’ll be a spectator…such is Life.
