a new era

 


        SATURDAY 1/15/22 9:30AM--in roughly two hours, we'll be on our way to Riderwood. Weather will affect the area starting Sunday after Lunch, but before dinner. I think I'll be able to go to Hershey's tonight, IF I want to...I don't think the weather will be a problem until tomorrow, but I'm not a weatherman, so who knows? At this point in time, we're planning on being at Riderwood at approximately One o'clock. That's about three hours from now. Time enough for both of us to take a shower and (and in my case) shave.
6PM--I got the Sonata but was a HHHHUUUUUGE Gov't Project. I'll explain later, if I can. For one thing, *I* thought we'd be home by 3PM.4PM at the latest--I was wrong. 
10:07PM--The Rhythm Bandits were (just) ok, dinner (grilled ham and cheese)was good, the company was good...but I was drained when I got there. I managed to stay about two hours altogether.
            It's possibly gonna take weeks before I know the instrument panel and the various features within it. They keep saying "brace yourself" with regard for the approaching weather system...I'l be digging deep into the manual for sure.
          SUNDAY 1/16/22 9:55AM--The universe is torturing me.The "good" things are very good, but they are outnumbered by the bad things--I fell down yet again; I can't even imagine what I've done to get punished this much. But I DID program the radio in the Sonata and possibly adjusted the EQ controls as well.
10:40AM--but I'm still being more klutzy than I used to be...and that drives me fucking crazy.
4:35PM--the next auto/tech project might be enabling the Bluetooth/cell phome combination--I don't like it, but it's the best (safest) way to talk on the phone while driving. They said it was gonna snow, and that's what's happening now. It's supposed to turn into rain by 8PM tonight--we'll see. I moved the Corolla into what I THINK is a parking space anyone can park in. How long I can leave it there I have no idea.
8:28PM- having a new car (new for me that is) is like having an almost new guitar that you can’t play because there are no strings on it…I’ve got a car and I can’t drive in this horrible weather… I shouldn’t drive it in this horrible weather let’s put it that way…you woudn't BELIEVE how much the Universe has been fucking with me...Something is making my relationship with FB very strained today; FB is usually never THIS glitchy.

Musical homework

            THURSDAY 8/4/22 6:19PM-- started doing my band "homework"... Hoping to be ready by Sunday's practice. Made a legible copy (by hand and then laptop) of the songs and their corresponding NOTES. It didn't take too long, but I'm glad I'm finished. 10:22PM-just took the Trazodone...gonna give it until 11PM and then ready or not I'M going to bed. I don't know why, but I'm almost happy the cleaners won't be back for two weeks. This happens every time they come to clean. Tomorrow is Muzzy's play date. Tuesday's just as bad

            TUESDAY 5/17/22 11:16AM-- someone is coming here to give me some sort of check-up. I don't think they represent UHC, but I might be wrong about that. Whoever it is, they're supposed to be here between Noon and 4PM. The sooner they get here, the sooner they'll be gone.  11:45AM--I'm nervous about the upcoming exam. As if I didn't already have enough to worry about, right? I've got bills I think need to be paid; I wanna be alone when I do it, and unless Dianne goes upstairs to work, I won't be. 1:41PM--whoever's coming to examine me should be here shortly...how long will the exam take? I have no idea, but I hope to be trying for a nap before three o'clock. 2:56PM--the exam is over, the young woman just left...I guess I'm in worse shape than I thought. I MIGHT have a mini pizza for dinner. 3:35PM--or not...the last thing I wanna do is ask Dianne to help me cook anything ...so tonight I'll have the Fettucine Alfredo, THAT I know how ...

dumber as ya get older

        MONDAY 5/23/22 8:47AM-It took me awhile, but I (alone) checked my blood sugar. it was 116. I was ok once I found the instruction booklet. I made a really good looking omelet. Today is the last day it's safe to use the eggs.         Dianne is at her doctor's appointment, I think. I'm working on the dishes,  after which...well, I dunno what I'll be doing. IF I can find the energy, I'll go to Hank's--IF I get the chance to warm up, more than a little that is. 5:10PM--the strings on Butterscotch absolutely need to be changed...well, maybe next week I'll bring it to Hank's. I'm still planning on going, but I'm not taking anything but some guitar picks. SueEl still isn't going tonight as far as I know. There might be a Fender amp and Tele already there--I can use that stuff if I get the chance to play. 7:26PM-the amp is here, the Tele is not-as far as I can see. 7:42PM-I guess I’ll be a spectator…such is Life.
